Smoked Porter Bottled
Brewing No Comments »I went ahead and bottled up the smoked porter today. A week ago I transferred it to a secondary fermenter, which is my way of saying I racked it out of the fermenting bucket into the bottling bucket, cleaned and sanitized the fermenting bucket and put it back in to the fermenting bucket. I need some carboys, I know. Specific gravity when I racked it was about 1.018, today it is down to about 1.014. I only used about 4 oz of priming sugar because, stupidly, that’s all I had. I still need to get better with my shopping lists.
