Roggenbier & Rauchbier
Brewing May 20th, 2008Did I spell those right? For those lazy enough to joint my crapulence, let’s just say I brewed up a rye beer and a smoked beer. The Roggenbier was a straight forward kit I got from Northern Brewer and the Rauchbier I have plans for. My thoughts are this: I’m splitting the Rauchbier into halves and adding peach puree to one half. So, maybe a peach smoked beer? We’ll see what happens.
Here’s what I got going now:
In the secondary:
3 gallons of Belgian Wit
3 gallons of Cherry Belgian With (same as above but w/ cherry puree)
5 gallons of Roggenbier
3 gallons Rauchbier
3 gallons of Peach Rauchbier
