It’s easy to offer guests or family members a choice of drip coffee or an espresso drink with this combination coffee/espresso maker. The Caffé Nero has separate controls and water tanks for each function, so you can brew drip coffee and espresso simultaneously. The coffee side has a patented Flavor Savor brewing system that fully saturates grounds and lets them steep for a while to draw out rich coffee flavors. A permanent gold-tone filter keeps even the finest grounds from sneaking through to a coffee cup and eliminates the need for buying paper filters. Using the dial on the top of the coffeemaker, you can adjust the coffee’s strength to personal preference. A separate button lets you choose between brewing 5 cups or less or from 6 to 10 cups and alters the heating element accordingly so smaller pots never taste burnt or overheated.
