It’s easy to offer guests or family members a choice of drip coffee or an espresso drink with this combination coffee/espresso maker. The Caffé Nero has separate controls and water tanks for each function, so you can brew drip coffee and espresso simultaneously. The coffee side has a patented Flavor Savor brewing system that fully saturates grounds and lets them steep for a while to draw out rich coffee flavors. A permanent gold-tone filter keeps even the finest grounds from sneaking through to a coffee cup and eliminates the need for buying paper filters. Using the dial on the top of the coffeemaker, you can adjust the coffee’s strength to personal preference. A separate button lets you choose between brewing 5 cups or less or from 6 to 10 cups and alters the heating element accordingly so smaller pots never taste burnt or overheated. DeLonghi coffee maker was designed to give you the taste of fresh Italian café coffee all in the convenience of your own home. DeLonghi though have been in the business for a long time crafting other household appliances. It was in 1995 that they introduced themselves into the coffee machine market. They then wowed the coffee world in 2003 with their product debut of the Café Duo that actually brewed two cups of coffee at once. Each one was like its own machine so you could time their brewing perfectly. It was then forward on that the word innovated was used to describe DeLonghi coffee maker. Their overall crafting and design of their machines are innovated, yet useful and practical. Some of their innovated ideas include a permanent filter, thermal cafes or heated plates that keep your freshly brewed coffee warm. They also incorporated a smart feature called Pause – Serve Now. This feature they created allows you to pour a cup of coffee before the whole pot is even brewed. So you do not have to wait for that delicious first cup of coffee. Many other coffee makers have followed suit in this option, but DeLonghi coffee maker was the first to have this feature. Programmable brewing is also another innovation that has come from DeLonghi. This is where you can program your machine to start brewing automatically so you can wake up to the fresh smell of coffee brewing.
