This is…Summer in the Pacific Northwest. And I have no one to blame but myself. I remember vividly waking up on my birthday, July 25th, in 1993, to 42 degrees, 20 mile an hour winds, and hail the size of quail eggs. And I stayed right here…for another 18 years.

This week, I had an interesting exchange with some folks who, well, let’s just say whose views don’t agree with mine.  It was…well…interesting, if kinda stupid. But it did get me thinking about what I, you, and those folks next door who play Metallica all night might want to enjoy if – y’know, maybe, theoretically – we did happen to have a two-three day warm snap sometime between now and October.
