Brews News: Summer beer drinking—local-style

04.07.11

Folks often ask me which local beers I like to drink. The answer is that there are too many to name — and it depends on the season. Like lots of beer lovers, I tend to crave crisp, light-flavored beers in the summer. These types of beers — such as India Pale Ales, Wheat beers and Kolschs — offer cooling refreshment to beat the heat.

To celebrate the season, I’ve chosen one easy-drinking summer brew from each of Asheville’s breweries that I think is worth a taste.

Denver Craft Ninjas Beer Brewing Project | The Denver Craft Ninjas

by Becky H.

We did our best to make sure that we could have a lot of people doing this project together!

The cost for this project is $25.00, as well as bringing 10-12 of your own bottles.

This price includes all brewing materials and instruction.

Bottles are expensive and in an effort to keep costs down, we’ll need you to bring your own.

Long neck brown bottles are BEST. Make sure to soak off the labels too. Don’t bring any stubby Red Stripe bottles because they’re a pain!

THIS PROJECT IS PRE-PAY ONLY.
